Trinity Theatre Arts
Trinity Theatre Arts is a part-time theatre school that offers classes in acting, singing and all dance styles. We recently opened an agency called Trinity Arts to allow students the opportunity to work professionally. Currently, we welcome students aged 3 to 20 years old.
All of our staff members have a vast amount of professional experience, so you can trust that you will be trained properly. We have trial lessons available for people who want to experience what it is like to be in one of our classes.
Meet the Staff
Lisa Wilkinson, Principal of Trinity Theatre Arts
Lisa trained at Stella Mann Dance College, taking both Performance and Teaching qualifications. Lisa has worked in several countries around the world, performing in a variety of shows.
She also spent many years dancing on cruise ships and has appeared in various TV productions as well. Lisa has a great deal of experience working as a Dance Specialist in primary schools, secondary schools, FE colleges and part-time theatre schools.
Charlotte Houghton, Dance & Drama Teacher
Charlotte trained full time at Performers College. Since graduating, she has worked as a dancer on the MSC Sinfonia cruise ship and toured with BOR Productions with 'Ooh La La' in various theatres all over Europe.
Charlotte has also appeared on Britain’s Got Talent, reaching semifinals with the burlesque dance group, Crazy Rouge. Charlotte trained from a young age with Lisa and thoroughly enjoys giving everything back to aspiring students at Trinity Theatre Arts.
Becky Harrison, Singing Teacher
Becky is absolutely delighted to be teaching singing at Trinity Theatre Arts. She trained at the Royal Academy of Music, graduating with a distinction in MA Musical Theatre.
She has worked in theatre, screen, voice over and as a singer since a young age. Most recently, she has taken a lead role in a new musical performed at the Iris Theatre, Covent Garden. Becky also regularly works as a singer for function bands.
She works as a dance teacher, drama teacher and choreographer as well, which benefits her teaching singing as she’s not only teaching singing technique, but also performance in context. She loves teaching and has a range of repertoire/singing techniques, allowing her students to learn different styles/genres in the way that suits them. Happy singing!
Hayley Jones, Receptionist
Hayley has been with Trinity Theatre Arts since the launch this year and is a key member of the team. Hayley’s children have been trained by Lisa for many years and when the opportunity arose to be part of the Trinity team, it was a no-brainer.
She has a passion for dance and trained as a dancer in her younger years. Hayley loves her role being front of house and supporting all the children at Trinity and their parents.
